@cathryn214: Thanks, but I am not looking for offers.. It is a bargain at €500.. perfect condition.. and a very capable piece of all-in-one high-quality equipment.. very easy to use..
No bother there are a few of them on there in around 300 to 400 but would prefer to buy local https://www.ebay.com/p/70311878?iid=313970441962
@cathryn214: If you order online 2nd hand items from unknown, possibly untraceable sellers, scammers,, you never know what you are gonna receive, or if you receive it all, or what problems it may hide, or what history it has had..with likely no support..
I am a home studio producer, musician.. I used to work in a local Musical Instrument Business, so I have heard many horror stories about Ebay.. :)
My unit, is hardly and carefully used.. Never left the studio. most of it's time spent in its box..
Works 100% as it should. I still have many old song demos on there that I would need to delete when selling, to do factory reset, which I will then lose forever in that multitrack form, so I don't like selling it, but I no longer have need for it, so would like to give it to a good home where someone else will get as much benefit from it as I did..
I live in Letterkenny, You are welcome to come see it, and I will give you a headphone demo of how it works, then if you like it, I will wipe its memory and reset it, and you can take it with you for €475 cash.. or not take it at all.. no problem..

Cheers for that Davey and I understand. Yes, I already have the Boss B900 and also a Yamaha 4 track, but am thinking of moving away from them as Computerized versions is the way forward.
I will keep my offer of €350 open until I fully decide which way I want to move forward,.
And thanks again Davey for the update.

@cathryn214: What "update" are you looking for?
The Boss Recorder, is a unique, digital, "computerised" recorder, all contained in one convenient, easy to use product..
Going to computers, is very costly to achieve the same quality, and can be very stressful, difficult to set-up, maintain, manage, use, comprehend, etc..
There are many independent pieces required, with many variables and decisions to make.. all with their own problems..
Buying a decent computer, plus audio-interface, sound card, plus software etc, can easily cost you 10 times as much..

@Believer: This is the only messaging system that I am aware of on ADVERTS.IE..
Please explain what it is you require..

By accepting my offer it brings the communication to a private message. Accept my offer and I’ll explain.
You can cancel it afterwards if you want. It’s no big deal.

If you are genuinely interested in the Boss Recorder, there would be no need for all this time-wasting nonsense..

I've been watching this ad as an owner of one of these. All I can say is they are the pinnacle of home recording. Next step after this is paying for studio time and a producer, engineers, expensive mics etc. Software alternatives are stealthily expensive and have a steep learning curve. Anyone who knows how to use a basic mixing desk can use this and achieve pro quality recordings. They're a musician's recording studio in a box and the price is ridiculously fair. There's a load of support for them on YouTube etc.
Seller is looking for a decent price for a unit that was decades ahead of it's time.
Sorry to butt in.

Okay, then maybe it's best that you keep it, if it's that's good.
I shall go on EBay where I can get it for €350 plus €20 shopping.
Thank you Davey

When would you like to call up to Letterkenny to collect?
I am available most days from 12pm to 4pm, except Fridays..
I can give you a demo before you buy, if you like..
If you decide to go ahead, I will then do a factory reset to wipe the memory clean of my own recordings..

I'm not sure what happens if I click "accept offer" on here and then you may decide to not go ahead..
But I will accept your offer of €500 cash on collection.. please let me know what date/time you would like to meet to demo/ collect..
I also have interested users on Donedeal, so whoever arrives first..
I only used the recorder to do a few quick demos of ideas to then take into the studio, so I didn't use it's full potential for quality finish..

Well, if the buyer has a good rating then you should give them the benefit of the doubt that they will honour their commitment to pay you the amount asked for. Negotiate an insured postage price and once the buyer pays you the agreed costs, post the item to them if collection is not an option...
Hope this helps?
