PDM was a massive cycling team in the late 80s & early 90s.

Sean Kelly (1956- ) raced from 1989-1991 with PDM - Ultima - Concorde. Kelly won two Monument classics with PDM: the race of the falling leaves (Giro di Lombardia in 1991) and the1989 Liege Bastogne Liege. Kelly got 9th in the 1989 TDF and won the green jersey in that tour de France with PDM.

1990 World Road Race Championship winner was Rudy Dhaenens (1961-1998: Rip) on a PDM Concorde bike. Hence, the world championship bar plugs.
