Beautiful bike. This is available to view on the shop floor in Staggs? Is it 11 or 12 speed Chorus? To the person below: bike to work doesn't work for secondhand bikes, and it certainly doesn't work for private sellers.
Hi there - I viewed the bike on Saturday out in Lucan and have a few queries about the history/wear if you get a moment please:
How old is it, and are you the original owner?
Are the original manuals and receipt of purchase available?
Is the Chorus group (2015-2019 I think) the same age as the frame - could you estimate mileage?
When was the Miche cassette installed?
How old are the wheels and tyres - what’s the approximate mileage? (FYI - tyre are flat in the shop, and a bit split and muddy so it’s hard to tell)
The bike has no pedals, bottle cages, lights or saddle-bag in the shop - assume these are all excluded from the sale?
Was there an original VNT stem, and is it also included along with the BBB one on the bike?
There’s a Garmin speed sensor on the rear hub - assume this was left on by accident and isn’t included.

- I am the only owner, All the components, wheels and group set were bought from Stagg cycles.
- The Chorus group is 2018 and I took it off a Cervelo bike I had. It has approx 2500km on it.
- The Boreas frameset was purchased from Staggs in November 2022
- The wheels, tyres and Miche cassette were purchased in March 2023 and have very low mileage on them, approx 300km
- The tyres are tubeless and the bike has not been used in a few months so will explain why they are flat.
- The bike doesn't come with pedals, bottle cages etc.
- The frameset did not come with a stem when purchased.
- Garmin speed sensor is included.

Many thanks for getting back so quickly, and for the detailed replies - I very tempted but think I’m out unfortunately.
I’d have been looking to freshen-up the cockpit and drive-train original Chorus 11 bits, but when I add up the costs, I’d need to off-set them from any offer that I’d make, which I imagine would then be too low to be in your reckoning, judging by the asking.
