Koós Ferenc’s Monster (220 cm with 500-700 gm casting weight) has proven to be a real catfish killer during the tests. In fishing situations where overhanging trees and bushes make angling nearly impossible, Catfish Monster will come to help you. It is an ideal rod both for boat fishing and for shore fishing. The backbone of the rod and its relatively soft tip do wonders for you when playing the fish between trees and under bushes. Monster has enough power in reserve to resist extreme tow. Sea fishing is also possible with this powerful pole. For clonking, we suggest using a 400 gm plummet. The SIC guide set features outstanding durability. The recommended braided lines are 0,32-1,2 mm.
