Description

Design & History
This piece is the "Retour de Pêche" (Return from Fishing) silk carré, designed for Hermès by artist Francoise de la Perriere and first issued in 1968.
Motif: An intricate, nautical-themed layout featuring a ring of deep-sea fishing trawlers and boats navigating swirling waves, framed by ropework knots and centered with maritime signal flags.
Colorway: Black, French blue, slate gray, and gold/yellow rope borders.
Size & Fabric: Standard 90cm × 90cm (35" × 35") silk twill.
