Have a maximum continuous rated output of 400W or less.
Have a maximum weight of 25kg or less (including batteries).
Not have a seat.
Key rules for road-legal e-scooter users:
Be 16 years or older.
Drive on the left (allowed in cycle/bus lanes and local, regional or national roads).
Not use footpaths, pedestrianised areas, or motorways.
Not carry passengers or goods.
Not hold or use a mobile phone.
