Italian Modernist Modigliani MCM ceramic head 1960s
Description
Superb, Modernist ceramic sculpture in the style of Amedeo Modigliani in the form of an elongated male head.
This superb sculpture dates from the 1960s and we believe it to be of Italian origin. Other examples have sold in Italy, Germany, the Netherlands and in the USA and most cite Italy as the country of origin.
Standing at an impressive 52cm in height, this fabulous, Mid Century sculpture created a real focal point. Has an approximate depth of 23cm with a width of 21cm.

A truly iconic, Mid Century piece, crafted in the superb, Surrealist form that brought Modigliani fame after his untimely death at the age of 35.
