Wild Goose Studio - Bidden or not Bidden, God is Present - Bronze coated Plaque

Remind yourself of the undeniable omnipresence of God with this Bidden or Not Bidden, God is Present Bronze Plaque. Simple yet effortlessly elegant, this plaque comes in a rounded rectangular shape that is made of resin and finished with a bronze coating that gives it a regal, radiant sheen that will not go unnoticed.

Exquisitely engraved on the plaque in slender but striking block letters is the message “Bidden or not bidden God is present,” with the “r” and first “e” in “Present” merged together so that the “r” is displayed backwards for a unique artistic effect.

This message actually comes from a famous quote from Carl Jung, a widely famous Swiss psychiatrist and psychoanalyst. This quote is famously presented in its Latin form: “Vocatus Atque Non Vocatus, Deus Aderit.” In an effort to remind people that the beginning of wisdom starts with having fear of the Lord, Jung shared this message by having the Latin version of the phrase displayed over his front door in Zurich, Switzerland and on his tomb when he died in 1961.

Measuring 9 inches long by 7.5 inches wide.

Has been hung for a long time and could do with a clean to bring out the bronze colour.
