Pepper Montanta is a high-yielding, compact pepper variety producing sweet, glossy fruits that ripen from green to bright red. Ideal for growing in pots, greenhouses, or sunny outdoor spots, this variety is well-suited to cooler climates and performs reliably even in short growing seasons. The fruits are perfect for slicing, roasting, or eating fresh.

Growing Information

Sow Indoors: Feb–Apr, in pots or trays with moist seed compost. Lightly cover with compost or vermiculite.
Germination: 7 – 21 days at 20 – 25°C
Transplant: Pot on when seedlings are large enough to handle. Harden off and plant out after last frost or grow in a greenhouse.
Spacing: 40 cm apart
Care: Keep evenly moist, feed regularly with tomato feed once fruits begin to set. Support plants if needed.
