Description

Beautiful Takamine semi acoustic from Japan 1995, comes with original case, one of the locks on the case is damaged however it’s never been a problem as the rest of the locks keep it secure. A special guitar, serial number 95110749 - From my research the model is an EF261S-AN it’s in excellent condition and a beautiful finish and a beautiful sound to it, the link below shows a similar guitar for sale on eBay

How is the action on it? Plenty of saddle left?

Is there much wear on the top? Bit hard to see in the first photo.

Thanks

TomDoyleD9 about a day ago

@MX80 Action is great, it’s low which suits me I can take a few more photos, yep plenty of saddle and no wear and tear on the head, just a bit of dust!

@philipk9299 Hi Philip, really appreciate the offer but it’s a bit off what I would accept, this guitar is like my baby again really appreciate the offer. I am available all day tomorrow if the price is right, thanks again

Thanks Tom, I'm not looking to spend too much on a guitar, I'll be in Navan for an hour tomorrow morning if you change your mind let me know thanks.

I should also mention this guitar has a solid cedar wood top. Unlike the cheaper modern budget lines, this is a pro-grade legacy acoustic that sounds incredible both unplugged and through a PA.
Key Specs & Features:
• Body Shape: Compact FXC (Mini-Jumbo/Grand Concert) body with a deep Venetian cutaway. Extremely comfortable to play standing or seated.
• Top Wood: Solid Cedar top. Because this wood is over 30 years old, it has opened up beautifully, giving the guitar a deeply warm, mature, and resonant tone.
• Bridge: Rosewood pinless bridge with a split saddle for highly accurate intonation.
• Electronics: Original Takamine Graph-EX active preamp system. Features a 3-band slider EQ, sub-bass exciter, and built-in battery check.
• Case: Includes the original, plush-lined, form-fitting Takamine hard-shell case shown in the photos (worth €100 alone).

Hi Tom, ye thanks for that but I've gone over my budget already at €450. Sorry about that but if you're ok with that I'll call and look at the guitar otherwise I'll have to leave it. I'm in Navan at the moment but leaving in about 45 min. Thanks.
