Dell PowerEdge R430 1U servers x3 - 2x Xeon E5-2630 v4 20 cores, 128GB RAM

Three Dell PowerEdge R430 1U rack servers, all in the same configuration.
Price is €850 each, or €2,400 for all three.

They were bought new from Dell in 2017 and have run since then in a
professional data centre (Equinix, Dublin) with clean power and cooling.
They are being retired because the workload is moving to cloud.

Spec per server:
- 2x Intel Xeon E5-2630 v4 (10 cores / 20 threads each; 20 cores / 40 threads in total)
- 128GB DDR4 ECC RDIMM (4x 32GB, 2400 MT/s)
- PERC H730 RAID controller with 1GB cache
- 8x 2.5" hot-swap bays, caddies included
- iDRAC8 Enterprise (full remote management and virtual console)
- Dual hot-swap redundant 550W power supplies
- 4x 1GbE onboard network ports
- Dell ReadyRails sliding rails with cable management arm
- TPM 2.0, DVD-ROM

The RAM alone (4x 32GB DDR4 ECC RDIMM per server) retails at about
€600–800 per server at current prices.

No drives included. They are removed and destroyed for data protection.

Good for a homelab, Proxmox or ESXi host, a small-business virtualisation
cluster, or a lab. The three together make a good cluster.

Currently in service; available from October once decommissioned.
