McCabes are proudly one of the original coffee roasters in Ireland, passing the craft from one generation to the next. Stephen McCabe apprenticed under his father and has developed the skill and subtle intricacies of coffee roasting to deliver unique, delicious blends. They only use Speciality Grade Arabica. This is coffee that has been scored above 80 by our qualified Q-grader, Leva Japertaite, and carefully grown by farmers we visit around the World. McCabes Coffee is committed to a sustainable business approach to minimize any negative impact on this generation and the generations to come. Supplying Irelands largest range of certified organic coffees, Fair-trade certified coffee and single origins from farmers we know. From 1st November 2019, we will be the first Irish Coffee Roasters to offer a collection service to recycle every bag of coffee we supply to cafes, restaurants and businesses around Ireland. Our take away cups are fully recyclable and made in Ireland. Project 20/20 supporting a poverty reduction program for sustainable coffee in Nepal To reduce global warming, we have teamed up with Tree Nation to plant 1 tree for every 10 boxes of coffee we sell. Tree cover is particularly important between the tropics where our coffee is grown and, in these areas, there is ever increasing deforestation, reduced bio-diversity and higher land temperatures.
