  • Kelly Kettle 'Trekker' (Stainless Steel)

3 Check out my shop for more quality outdoor kit The Kelly Kettle 'Trekker' ia a highly efficient Stainless Steel Outdoor camp Kettle (the fire base is also stainless steel) which is suitable for Trekkers, Hikers, Kayakers, Canoeists Backpackers, Bikers, and all outdoors enthusiasts who need to keep their pack light. Also suitable for Car Camping and Wilderness Survival Kits / Disaster Kits. This lightweight kettle fits neatly into a Rucksack or Backpack. As there is no need to carry fuel, these kettles will help keep your pack light and save you money at the same time - never worry about running out of fuel again! Using any naturally occuring solid fuel (sticks, pine cones, dry camel dung! etc.) this kettle will operate perfectly well, even in a storm and will bring 2 Mugs of water to a rolling boil within a matter of minutes. If more hot water is required simply refill the kettle and place it back on the fire base and refuel the chimney again. The kettle will be boiled again within a matter of minutes where water can be used for more hot drinks, boil-in-the-bag, bathing, washing up, etc. A wonderful piece of camping equipment. Fire Base & Drawstring carrying bag are included as standard with each kettle It has been designed to boil water extremely fast in all weather conditions using very little fuel. When filled with water, the Stainless Steel Kettles should always be carried upright. If filled with water and carried on their sides or upside down, leakage can sometimes occur from the chimney top which is not always perfectly watertight. • DD Hammock Quilt

3 Check out my shop for more quality outdoor kit The DD Hammock Quilt is designed to be used alongside an Underblanket for insulation in a hammock. The idea of using a Quilt instead of a sleeping bag is that it is easier to use a quilt in a hammock as opposed to trying to get into a sleeping bag once inside your hammock (which isn't always the easiest thing to do, as some of you will know)! The design of the DD Hammock Quilt allows you to close off the foot end with press studs running from the bottom up to around your knees and a draw cord at the very bottom to bring it together - this allows you to slide your feet in, and once in the quilt it should stay in place over the course of the night. The neck end of the quilt is wider to fit round your torso and also has a couple of press studs. These press studs allow the quilt to fit snugly around your neck and again help keep it in place as you move during the night. Another draw cord at the neck end allows you to close the air gap and keep warm air inside. How to use: Very simply - close the press studs (at top and bottom) together and pull draw cord tight at bottom. Put your head through the hole at the top (wider end) so the quilt sits around your neck. Sit down in your hammock, swing your feet into the hammock and then into the foot end of your quilt and lie back ready for a good nights sleep! You can also adjust the draw cord at your end for a snug fit. Temperature rating: The DD Quilt has a comfortable temperature rating down to 2C (35 F) when used together with the DD Underblanket. We know a number of people have been using it comfortably below this temperature but we think 2C (35F) is a fair low comfortable (not extreme) temperature rating for most people. Specs: Insulation is 200gsm synthetic silk. Size:Comfy for people up to 6ft 5ins Colour:Olive Green Weight:875g Includes:Compression Sack

  • DD Frontline Hammock

3 Check out my shop for more quality outdoor kit The DD Frontline Hammock comes with built on mosquito net and has zips on either side of the mosquito net which allow for very quick entry/ exit either side of the hammock. It also allows the mosi net to be tied above the hammock out of the way when not needed and it can be dropped back down in seconds as soon as required. The DD Frontline Hammock is a very similar design to the Travel Hammock (please see our other ad),however unlike the Travel Hammock it is not waterproof, an advantage to this is it is extremely breathable and you can also cocoon yourself between the layers if you wish. As well as for use in the Ireland / Europe this hammock is a great jungle hammock due to its breathablity and built on fine mesh mosquito net.
