@donegal11 motor pump unit is working, good water pressure output but was quite loud. (Reason for replacement with a T90SR) Not a motor 'brushes' issue as the shower had only been used approx 40 times. Noisy dry bearing due to lack of use.
The show is now 20 years old so I'd be surprised if only used 40. I've got the 90SR but need to get it installed. So might need the motor as a stop gap , But the issue with mine appears to be bearing and hence noise and water pressure. How much?
@donegal11 was in a spare bedroom and was hardly ever used over the years. Lack of use is the issue with the bearing noise. The noise might reduce with more continuos use as the pressure is good but it may not. If you take the cover off and there is black carbon dust on the inside of the unit I would try replaying the carbon brushes. If you have a T90sr I would just replace the old unit. It's easy enough as the power and water connections are in the same positions.
