Antique Victorian Silver Plated Gondola Toast Rack

An amusing large size late Victorian silver plated Gondola shaped toast rack with seven bars and a central cast circular handle. In very good condition.
Date: Circa 1895.
H: 15.5 cm D: 8 cm L: 23 cm
A scarce and unusual antique English possibly Sheffield silver plated toast rack modelled as a Venetian gondola or Viking ship.
Similar ones exist made by Richard Richardson and dating from the 19th century. The toast rack is well made sitting on a rounded hull shaped open work frame with a raised bow and stern with six sections for toast one with a raised loop handle. The toast rack has no impressed marks that I can find.

In good original condition with no visible wear to the silver plate. Believe this was not overused or polished. Two of the supports at the front have snapped but does not affect the body or use. Price adjusted accordingly. Please see the last photo.
Could be used as a letter rack also.
