Fine Victorian Sterling Silver Presentation Snuff Box by Nathaniel Mills

This is a magnificent solid sterling silver snuff box of exceptional quality, hallmarked in Birmingham, 1847. It bears the maker’s mark of the renowned Nathaniel Mills, the most prestigious name in British silver box making during the Victorian era. Known for his "top-tier" craftsmanship, Mills’ pieces are highly coveted by silver connoisseurs worldwide.

The box features a beautifully shaped, scalloped outline with a heavy floral and foliate scroll border in crisp relief. The sides are similarly decorated with deep, intricate chasing that exemplifies the opulent aesthetic of the mid-19th century.
