Joseph Willmore Georgian Sterling Silver and Gold Snuff Box
Description
Here is a wonderful example of a Georgian sterling silver and gold interior snuff box..It was assayed in Birmingham in 1827 and was produced by well sought after Joseph Willmore..(please check out his auction and other channel prices for these pieces)..The box is just under 6 cms long,3.5 cms wide and 1.2 cms tall..it weighs 38.3 grams..It has a wonderful integral hinge,opens and closes perfectly and flush.All interior corners are perfect..no pin holes or repairs..I am happy to call the interior gold,as there is zero lifting on the colouration.For a box of this age,it is as clean as they come..I will include registered post and very safe packing for the new custodian.Thanks for looking please check out my other ads.
