Description
The ‘Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes’ (RAOB) at one time one of the largest fraternal movements in the UK, started in 1822, their numbers have dwindled significantly over the decades in comparison to organisations like the Free Masons.
This beautiful gilt metal & enamel medal on original ribbon & in its original fitted case was presented to a Buff member on being raised up in the secret society.
Beautiful engraving to the rear dating this piece to May 1924. A truly rare & wonderful addition to any collection.
