Vintage Silver Plated Candle Snuffer Scissors - Wick Trimmer - Georgian Style - Ornate Shell Handles

Vintage Silver Plated Candle Snuffer / Wick Trimmer Scissors - Georgian Style

A lovely decorative piece for candle lovers and collectors, in the classic Georgian scissor style.

It works in two ways: the scissor action trims the wick, and the box catches the charred wick so you can extinguish the candle cleanly without smoke.

Features:
- Classic scissor action with snuffer box and pointed end
- Stands on three small feet
- Beautiful ornate shell / rosette handles with reeded edges
- Fluted box section with acanthus leaf detail

Measurements:
- Length: approx. 17cm

Condition:
Honest vintage condition - please see close-up photos. It has tarnish and plating wear to the handles, and some rust to the steel cutting blade, as expected with age. The scissor action still moves. Sold as a decorative / collectable vintage piece, silver plated, NOT solid silver.

Perfect for display, for a fireplace, or as a gift for someone who loves candles and old things.
