It usually is on the clasp, otherwise it won't be silver..

So sorry to differ with you, but that is not the case. I have many sterling silver chains that do not have a stamp on due to not being possible on the clasp. Thanks so much for your interest though

I was thought that there's always must a stamp, if it's silver or gold, etc.
