Handmade solid timber compact kitchen island, featuring our distinctive 19th-century Hispanic-inspired aged driftwood patina.

Designed as the smaller version of our larger kitchen island, this piece has the same substantial construction and heavily aged character, but with a compact 900mm × 675mm footprint — ideal for kitchens where space is at a premium.

The timber is heavily wire-brushed by hand, opening up the grain and accentuating the knots and natural markings. It is then finished with layers of weathered grey, muted earthy brown and lighter washed highlights, creating the appearance of timber naturally worn and aged over many years.

At 900mm high, it sits at a practical kitchen worktop height, while the two generous open shelves provide useful storage for cookware, crockery, baskets, serving bowls, cookbooks and other kitchen essentials.

Each island is individually finished by hand, allowing the natural grain, knots and character of the timber to remain visible. The heavy wire-brushed treatment means no two pieces will be exactly alike.
