Vintage 1970s Dimplex Snackmaster Model TTC22 electric tabletop grill / snack cooker for sale. Pristine condition. Never used

Chrome body with original wooden side panels. Features dual ON/OFF switches, temperature control dial, exposed heating elements on top, and a sliding wire rack/tray underneath.

Perfect for toasting, grilling snacks, cheese on toast, etc. Comes with the original Dimplex installation and operating instructions leaflet. In good clean condition – chrome is shiny and the wood is intact. Power cord with standard 3-pin plug.

Dimplex was founded in 1949 in Southampton, England. The name comes from the distinctive “dimples” on their early oil-filled radiators — the dimpled surface increased heat output.

It quickly became one of Britain’s leading electric heating brands and introduced the first domestic storage heater in 1961.

In the mid-1970s the company hit financial trouble during the energy crisis and went into receivership. In 1977 it was bought by the Irish company Glen Electric (founded in Newry by Martin Naughton), forming Glen Dimplex.

Glen Dimplex is still a major Irish-owned multinational and one of the world’s largest manufacturers of electric heating products.
