Description

For a house with an oil or gas boiler and radiators.

Replaces your existing thermostat and gives you room by room temperature control. The system needs an internet connection and is controlled with an app.

Having the wireless temperature sensors paired with the smart radiator thermostats is much more accurate than just the radiator thermostats on their own.

1 x wired smart thermostat
9 x wireless temperature sensor
9 x smart radiator thermostat
1 x internet bridge
various cables, radiator adaptors and wall mounting screws.

In great condition. I used double sided tape on the thermostats which is now worn out, but can be easily replaced, or you can mount with the included screws.

Collection from Greystones or I can meet up in Dublin or Wicklow.

Could you confirm what type of Tado devices these are? And how old they are? Do they replace radiator with TRVs?

nickm 3 days ago

@SeamusF391 These are the V3+ system. Purchased in 2022 and used for 2 years before going into storage while my house was being renovated. Yes you need to have TRVs on the radiators, these replace the top half.

Would a plumber/electrician/both be required to install? Assuming it needs to attach to gas boiler

nickm 3 days ago

@SeamusF391 If you need to get TRVs fitted to the radiators I would recommend a plumber.

Replacing your thermostat with the tado one is not too hard if you are comfortable with basic electrics, the tado website has good instructions. I did mine myself.
