Grand Seiko SBGN027 9F GMT, 39mm, Black Dial

Selling my Grand Seiko SBGN027 as I’m making room for another watch. This is the black dial Sport Collection GMT, powered by Grand Seiko’s 9F86 quartz movement. Originally purchased in August 2024 and comes with a 5 year warranty.

The SBGN027 is a very practical watch. It has a 39mm stainless steel case, sapphire crystal, screw-down crown, 200m water resistance and a proper GMT function. The 9F86 is rated to +/-10 seconds per year, and the local hour hand can be adjusted independently when travelling without stopping the watch.

The black dial has a subtle radial finish, with a white GMT hand and applied luminous markers. The steel bezel carries the 24-hour scale, and the watch comes on Grand Seiko's three-link stainless steel bracelet.

The watch is sized for approximately a 7 inch wrist. I have misplaced the spare links but replacements are available to order from any AD as this is a current production model.

Condition is very good and it has been worn and enjoyed, rather than kept as a safe queen. There are signs of normal wear, but nothing that affects the function or presentation of the watch. Please see the photographs for the exact condition.

Comes with the original Grand Seiko box and warranty card/papers.

The SBGN027 is a particularly good option for someone who wants a genuinely useful GMT without going down the usual Rolex/Tudor route. It is also a nice alternative to a mechanical GMT if accuracy and low-maintenance ownership are priorities.
