This model is a modern recreation of the original Navigator Timer launched in Japan in 1968, which was a pioneering sports-type GMT watch featuring the first mechanical GMT movement with a rotating bezel. The new version pays homage to its predecessor with a design that mirrors the original while incorporating modern enhancements.

This watch is powered by the new 6R54 calibre mechanical movement, Seiko Prospex's first mechanical GMT movement, offering a three-day power reserve. It features a grey dial and a stainless steel case with a 38.5mm diameter and 12.6mm depth. The case is treated with a super hard coating for added scratch resistance and durability.

The timepiece includes a GMT function, allowing wearers to track two different time zones simultaneously. It is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet secured by a Z-Clasp and protected by a sapphire crystal.
