Mid Century 200-190 Upholstered Bar Stool - Made to Order

At Outset design we our proud to now offer high quality reproductions of mid century, European designed furniture, hand built in Poland. 



The 200-190 Bar Stool M/75 is the taller, upholstered version of the iconic 200-190 chair by Polish designer Rajmund Hałas, originally designed in the 1960s. This stunning recreation has adapted the original design into a bar-height stool while keeping its distinctive curved back and mid-century character.

The defining feature is the large, gently curved upholstered backrest, which gives the stool a much more substantial and comfortable feel than a typical barstool. The design combines 1960s Polish modernism with Art Deco and Danish design influences.

* Brass-finished detailing
* Plywood internal structure
* High-resilience foam seat
* Upholstered curved back and seat
* EN 16139 contract-use testing
* Supplied fully assembled, with package dimensions of 49 × 55 × 106cm.


This stool is available in a number of upholstery styles and colours including Bouclé, Velvet, Shine Velvet and Marble fabrics, with wood grains available in:
