How many years old is the stove please?

cornaroy 7 months ago

@Maryb28 Unsure but the house it’s in was built in 1960 so no older than that.

Does this Aga have a boiler and heat domestic water or it that seperate? Also is the Aga asbestos lined as from what I've read this seems to be how the Agas were insulated. Is the central heating unit to the left of the Aga in the picture and is that also solid fuel?

cornaroy 7 months ago

@Narnia-IE yes that is the central heating to the left and it also takes solid fuel. Regarding your questions about asbestos and water heating, I dont know

kenneth murray 1 week ago

Hi , would you have any of the parts to convert it back to solid fuel

cornaroy 1 week ago

@kenneth murray as the ad makes clear this stove is a solid fuel stove and always has been. It was never converted to oil and should still run on solid fuel. Therefore there is no question of it needing to convert it back.
