Is this still available and can it run rads if so how many

thebaron 1 month ago

@phelanhumphries: Hiya, yes still available, but I'm sorry I have no clue about the rads. It was already disconnected when I moved into this home, but I do know the previous owner had it in the kitchen and hooked up to heat the water cylinder and rads, but I have no clue how many. The house is a bungalow though, if that helps.

Hi, roughly what weight is this? And can it be used with or without a back boiler? Thanks

thebaron 2 days ago

@jack.claff: Hey, I'd be guessing on the weight, but it is extremely heavy. I would guess about 170kg easily. It took three of us to lift it when we disconnected it and even then it was a struggle with three of us.

Yes I believe so about the back boiler. I never actually used it myself, but it was hooked up when I bought my home and it was located in the kitchen and not connected to a back boiler. I was told it had been previously used to heat radiators.
