I'm planning on moving abroad now that I've graduated. I love the idea of buying things for life and repairable stuff. If you can find the model number and I can find a repalcement latch I'll happily take it off your hands

@Huginn I hear you, it’s cheaper for a Samsonite because of the latch otherwise a good sturdy case.

I believe I may have found the latch type "samsonite drawbolt latch" unfortunately I could not find replacement parts so this ad is not for me. Seems like a great deal though and luggage strap should work fine.
