Beautiful antique pine table which was professionally cut down and reshaped some years ago to create a wonderfully characterful coffee table. A lovely substantial piece with gorgeous age, patina and honest wear throughout.

The pine has a beautiful warm tone with visible old iron nails, aged timber markings and all the charm you would hope to find in a true antique piece. The drawer still retains its wonderful original wooden screw fitting behind the knob — such a lovely old detail and a real sign of age and craftsmanship.

There are historic traces of old woodworm visible in places, entirely consistent with antique pine of this age, however the table has been fully treated and there is no active woodworm present.

The piece has been lovingly sanded back and is now ready for its next chapter. It can be left natural as it is, or its new owner could choose to wax, stain, limewash or paint it depending on the look they want to achieve.

A wonderfully versatile piece that would suit farmhouse, country house, cottagecore, wabi sabi or relaxed contemporary interiors beautifully.
