George IV Architects Desk

Description

A superb example of a George IV Architects Desk or work station.
One of the finest examples of such a piece.
Elevated on four tapered mahogany legs.

The upper mahogany desk lid opens to expose a selection of pigeon holes and a fine baize interior.

The escutcheons are of a superior brass construction - typical of the Georgian period.
Two fine drawers sit below the desk.

A fine period lock secures all.
The mahogany is of a fine Honduran origin.

Finally, the mahogany railed upper structure enhances the aesthetic beauty of the piece.
