Full Imaging AStrograph Setup (150 mm f/2.8 Fast Newtonian)

Complete turnkey f/2.8 imaging Newtonian astrograph. Everything included, assembled and connected, collimated and optimized so you can image without the hassle of setting up a fast imaging scope and working out all the issues. I’ve done that for a considerable time, so you don’t have to.

• OTA is fully flocked from factory, all shiny surfaces velour flocked/blacked out

• Corrector in perfect condition, as are both mirrors
• ASI2600MC. This camera is a perfect example of the ASI2600MC, identical bias frames since buying new. Calibrates beautifully, works perfectly. Original box supplied. Importantly, this sensor has no tilt from manufacture.
• All adapters provided for the camera, including printed cable holder
• All cables, USB 2, USB 3 etc. provided for everything so it is ready to image as-is. I provide also a longer 1.5 m LINDY USB 3 cable.
• Askar 32 mm guidescope (with original box)
• ASI 290 MM mini guide camera with cable (this is the high sensitivity model)
• Pegasus Powerbox Advanced Gen 2 (great device, powers all scope related items, camera, miniPC etc.). You need to supply your own 12 V 10A power supply. Completely remote controllable power switching via software, NINA etc.
• MELE PCG02 Pro mini PC. Full windows 11, 8GB RAM, 256 GB storage. USB sticks of course can be also added. Wifi etc. Fanless, and a great system. I will leave all ASCOM setup, PhD2 software, N.I.N.A. latest build and all drivers used to run the system on there. You just add your won software or update as you need for your own mount or other peripherals. Chrome remote desktop runs flawlessly for it. Allow for use of any brand of accessories or software.
• ZWO EAF autofocuser with cable, bracket etc.

Note: This scope requires minimal or no refocusing with temperature changes. Unlike refractors, the need to refocus is between seldom and non-necessary. I run through NINA, occasionally it runs a refocus after a 5% change in HFR over a rolling 10 sub count, and this is affected by seeing more than temperature.

With your own power supply, this system needs nothing to run, except connection to your mount.

You have the option of replacing the 21mm and 16.5 mm camera adapters seen here with OAG, filter drawer if you like, they all have standard optical thickness in the backfocus.

Correct image plane nominally at 55 mm. Accounting for 0.67 mm optical thickness for a 2 inch filter (all of my filters have the same thickness of 2.0 mm, not 1.8 mm), I found optimum correction at 55.64 mm.

The entire system is ~6K full loaded, significant reduction, no issues (oxidation of black anodized parts to a light brown doesn’t count), and fully optimized and assembled.
