Hi there. As it’s been in a shed for 5 years, can you tell me if you have inflated it to check for punchers , holes etc ? Also does it come with a pump ?
@Charliehorse85 I haven't had the time to be totally honest but I'll put it up tomorrow evening and stick up a few photos. It was in a well insulated shed, on a shelf, and away from sunlight. There won't be an issue with it.
Great thanks, I’m just concerned with it being in a shed sitting on self for so long that it might have deteriorated over time also possible holes from mice etc
@jon.jones sorry, I didn't get a chance today to set it up and I don't want to do it now with the dew in the grass and risk dampness getting into it. Checked the bag and it's in perfect condition, no holes etc. But I will set it up when I can for the pics. Stay tuned
Hi, interested in this and would offer closer to asking price. Is this the blue and white variation or the beige like the photos? Cheers
Hi, I'm away for the weekend, but I'll set it up and post the pics tomorrow once it's dry. To be honest I thought it was beige until you asked the question and now I think it's blue. :-) and I'm expecting closer to asking. Thanks, Sean
Hi a, no insult intended the bases of my offer was the fact that the tent is 5 years + old and I assumed it was the older model. There is new 6man inflatable tent in Halfords at the moment for €280 but I preferred this tent.
@jon.jones no offence taken, also no reason needed to validate your offer, but since you did. The tent is in fact 5 years old, but it has only been used once in dry conditions and stored in a controlled environment (an insulated shed with temperature control). So it's still practically brand new. Someone will get a good tent for the right money. And I'm sure you'll agree Decathlon > Halfords for camping equipment.
TBH I have no idea on the quality between halfords and decathlon looking at the specs of both they are similar. In saying that I do prefer the layout of your tent and I would prefer it. I’m looking forward to seeing the pics of it inflated. I’m on leave this week coming and I plan on bringing my kids away for a few days camping so I want to get a tent tomorrow.
