Our Senior Patrol tents - Tentex PC36 - are made of polycotton (± 65% cotton / 35% polyester), and have a specific gravity of 360 g/m² for treatment.
The fabric consists of ring-spun yarn, very dense twill (duck woven) and has been treated with a petroleum-based (petroleum-based coating?) that is UV-resistant, colourfast, water-repellent, and fire-, mildew- and rot-resistant while maintaining breathability.
With impressive tear and tensile resistance, this material offers an unrivalled combination of strength, flexibility and comfort.
Moreover, the dark green canvas lets in little light, ideal for sleepers.

Canvas treated to be UV-resistant, colourfast, water-repellent, mildew- and rot-resistant, while maintaining its breathability.
The coating is invisible, but without a doubt a very important aspect of your tent.

What you don't see does make a difference: the coating is incorporated deep into the fibres before production, which significantly extends the life and performance of the canvas, without losing its breathability.
The tent is also fire-retardant according to BS7837:1996.

Multifunctional Use :

With roll-up front and back, the Senior Patrol Tent offers maximum flexibility.
Use it as an enclosed sleeping area, open meeting place or sheltered storage - depending on the needs of the moment.

The bathtub-shaped groundsheet keeps moisture out, even at 5 cm water level, and is easy to attach or remove thanks to the buckle and Velcro fastening.
For larger set-ups, multiple tents can be easily linked together via buckles, ideal for camps with many participants or modular camp set-ups.

The mud flap on the outside of the tent ensures that the Senior does not suffer from splashing water or dirt. The rings with which the splash flap is equipped ensure secure attachment to any ground.

The finish of the Senior Patrol Tent 5 x 6 is tailored to intensive use in the field, down to the smallest details.

Both the front and rear doors are equipped with an integrated mosquito net, ensuring an insect-free night's sleep without sacrificing ventilation.

Triangular windows with fine mesh mosquito netting let in natural light and promote air circulation.

The tent fabric is attached to the frame via a sturdy Velcro fastener. This both in the roof and on the side walls.

For maximum reliability in daily use, all zips are military-grade and from the renowned SBS brand, tested according to ISO 17025.

The guy ropes are reflective and UV-resistant, composed of a strong inner core and a protective outer sheath of high-quality polyester, and easy to tension thanks to aluminium tensioners and carabiners.

The side walls can be nicely tensioned by the robust rubber bands at the bottom of the awning fabric.

The tent is anchored with pegs made of forged steel, which provide trouble-free support even on hard surfaces. Finally, quick-straps allow you to roll up and secure doors and side walls quickly and neatly - a small but oh-so-practical addition for everyday convenience at camp.
