Up for sale is a genuine First Edition (1966) copy of the iconic Reader's Digest/AA Book of the Road. This is a fantastic "time capsule" piece for any classic car enthusiast or collector of 1960s social history.
Condition: The internal pages are in excellent, clean condition with vibrant illustrations. Please note: The binding has split at the spine (see photos), which is common for this heavy volume, but the book remains a wonderful reference piece.
The Highlight: This copy includes the complete original ephemera from August 1966, including the Advice Note, "Join the AA" flyer, map instructions, and privilege vouchers. Finding these original inserts still tucked inside is exceptionally rare.
