Barco CVM 3670 27" Professional Broadcast CRT Monitor (Spares / Repair / Project)

Up for sale is a Barco CVM 3670 27-inch professional broadcast CRT monitor currently in a non-working condition.

I used this monitor as part of my retro gaming setup a few years back and it produced a fantastic image. It was stored safely inside the house in warm, dry conditions.

Recently taken out and powered on for testing. The front control panel illuminates, and the power supply and degaussing appear to engage, but unfortunately the CRT remains dark and no picture is displayed. Tested with an RGB video source, but no image or on-screen menu appears.

I suspect it may be bad capacitors or something similar on the chassis board that needs attention/recapping after sitting idle, but I don't have the capacity to diagnose or recap it myself. Found a reddit post where someone said their same model needs time to warm up before displaying an image, which would likely suggest bad capacitors: https://www.reddit.com/r/crtgaming/s/xun3mYLBa9 .

I have included old photos of the monitor working from when it was in active use to prove the tube and chassis were running great prior to storage.

Selling AS-IS for parts, repair, or a restoration project.

Collection Only due to the size and heavy weight.
