@Buzz sp1 I tested it a few months ago with a LOTR dvd that I have and it played fine the first few minutes. Can send you a video of it in action if you are interested?

@Buzz sp1 if you check these videos you can see however you will probably need to buy a third party remote to get the dvd to play as I am not sure if the dvd can be controlled using the side buttons.
