Originally purchased from Harvey Norman for €1,749.

The TV is in very good condition and the 75” screen and picture are excellent.

It has recently developed a thermal shutdown issue though. The TV works perfectly from a cold start, after which it can shut down and display a flashing red light. Once cooled down, it works again.

We have been quoted approximately €250 to repair, but have decided to replace the TV instead.

Would be ideal for someone who repairs TVs or is happy to have it repaired.

Also, may I know how many times this tv blinks when switching off. As Sony does this blonk style to determine what actually went wrong? If not, is it just switching off straight away?

@khari14: hi, it blinks 6 times. It can stay on from anything from 1 hour to up to 3-4hrs, sometimes even more, before it turns off. Once off for 30 or more mins we can switch it on again.
