@groovy things: Apologies! I had a memory of it working with a HDMI and was trying to find it, The RF Modulator Box comes with it only takes CART and RF. I think it was a different TV. However, all you need is a HDMI to SCART convertor, costing around €15-€20 (https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=HDMI+to+SCART+converter+PAL&utm_source=chatgpt.com)
@groovy things. Exactly. Essentially the box I have takes a digital signal and converts it to analogue. That input on the TV is what would have taken the analogue feed from the old aerials.
@groovy things: If you're still interested I'd be happy to drop the price by €15 to allow for the purchase of the adapter.
@groovy things: As long as a device has either an HDMI port, or and adapter which gives the device that, then yes. What phone do you have? I have an Apple Lightning to HDMI adapter I could throw in.
Hi Allanah,
I’m interested in the PXL 200 14-inch CRT television.
Could I ask you a few quick questions before arranging collection?
1. Does the TV display a picture when switched on, or have you only tested that it powers up?
2. Could you send me a photo of the connections on the back of the TV?
3. Does it have any video inputs, such as SCART or composite AV (yellow, red and white sockets)?
4. Is the screen in good physical condition, without cracks or significant damage?
I’m hoping to use it for a small retro display project, so getting a picture onto the screen is important.
Thanks very much!
Joe
