Description

A first year LR 90 , introduced in 1984 before the Defender name was adopted in 1990.

Fully rebuilt from the ground up, this is a completely restored vehicle with a 3.9 V8. Everything documented on the log book.

Full nut and bolt rebuild, with the underside, axles and running gear stripped, cleaned and refinished. Galvanised chassis and new TD5 bulkhead. Absolutely no rust anywhere and spotless throughout.

One of the nicest things about this 90 is its versatility. It comes with everything to run it in three different configurations: full hard top, pickup or convertible/soft top.

Currently configured as a hardtop.
• 3.9 V8 with sports exhaust manifold
• Full nut and bolt rebuild
• Galvanised chassis
• New TD5 bulkhead
• Completely rust free
• Three configurations included: full hard top, pickup and convertible/soft top
• Two sets of wheels included
• Twisted Performance alloys
• Steel modular wheels with BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain tyres in the classic Coolnvintage style
• Two sets of seats included: bucket racing seats and leather seats
• Exmoor Trim rear load-area tonneau cover
• Rear spare-wheel swing-away carrier
• Twisted Performance lowering springs included. These were removed as I preferred the standard
• Roof, sides and all associated body components included
• Stored indoors with a custom breathable Defender cover
• €56 annual tax and test exempt

It drives beautifully and the 3.9 V8 sounds exactly as it should.

The modular setup means it can be a proper hard-top Defender through the winter, a classic pickup, or stripped back to a soft-top/open 90 for the summer.

Everything pictured along with the additional bodywork, wheels, seats, suspension and accessories is included in the sale.
