Description

For sale is a vintage Triumph acclaim that I saved a couple of years ago.
I got it with no identification or paperwork.
I'd good intentions as a Triumph acclaim was my second car over 30 years ago. But I've other projects and can't get them all done as realised.
So I'm offering this for spares or repair.
I bought a brand new ignition barrel with key at great expense so if the car is to be bought for parts,I'll deduct appropriately for the removal of that as I have another Honda that uses the same barrel type. These acclaims are thin on the ground now especially in Ireland.
Amazing there's only 38K on the clock and from owning several of them between 20-30 years ago i can confirm this as im sure the interested party with know himself also.
I've had it running with a feed of Petra down its duel carbs and it sounds nice and quiet when briefly runs.
I'd say it would be easy to get it running on a tow start as these old hondas don't like to be lying up a long time because of the air locks that develop in the fuel supply as ive learned with its bigger brothers similar aged Accords and prelude.
The car is located between abbeyleix and Durrow and I can only offer viewing on Fridays only because of where I'm normally based in Dublin.
Should the buyer be from between there and Dublin and the price is right,I can offer delivery.

NOTE: I won't answer stupid questions and won't accept silly offers or swap texts.
