Unable to test as the batteries do not charge.

Camera is in very good superficial condition, tape opening and all buttons are in good order.

Comes with 3 batteries that won't charge, a battery charger, RGB type cable and camera bag.

Hi - not 100% sure but there is an empty VHS-C box in the bag so assume it takes VHS-C tapes

Charger powers on and seems to be working but all the batteries are dead and I can't resurrect them! I have no mains power supply lead to test the camera with.

Ah ok, thanks Paul. I've bought one already that couldn't be tested and it doesn't work. I'm wary of spending more money for another that doesn't work. I only need it to transfer one old tape onto the pc. What's the best price you'd do, minus the batteries including postage?

Also might be worth a Google search, there are services that will do this conversion for you. Definitely a few around Dublin.
