Omega De Ville Automatic Day Date Vintage Gents Wristwatch, circa 1969



Stunning rare vintage piece, tonneau (barrel) form case.

Stainless steel case made from a single block of metal, with the movement and dial inserted through the front of the watch.

A robust form of case construction, by limiting the number of opening apertures to the case, the movement and dial could be more firmly protected.

The dial of this watch is in lovely condition with a vertical satin finish and contrasting chamfered outer edge.

Unusual, rectangular, wedge-form numerals are set with black inserts.
