04092001 is a collaborative live album by the Japanese experimental rock band Boris and the noise music pioneer Merzbow (Masami Akita). The album's title signifies the exact date it was recorded live: September 4, 2001.

2023 Reissue: Globally re-released by Relapse Records on November 17, 2023. This marked the first time the record was widely available on streaming platforms and vinyl outside of Japan.

The performance serves as a chaotic, live preview of tracks that later appeared on Boris's landmark 2002 album Heavy Rocks. Because the concert happened months before Heavy Rocks or Merzbow's Megatone were officially released, the audience was hearing completely fresh material enveloped in dense layers of analog and laptop noise.

All Items are from a personal collection, stored upright and in excellent conditions. All items, vinyls & sleeves are cleaned, visually inspected and LPs / records / CDs are played (partially or completely) prior to been giving ratings & comments, before LPs/CDs listed.

LP’s come with plastic sleeve cover.

Postage is available on limited conditions:

P&P at buyers risk is €7.00, this is a A Post pre-paid padded envelope. Records will be wrapped in cardboard, etc and sent via normal post. Any loss or damage is completely at buyers risk.

P&P for LPs Registered will be approximately €14.50 (Depending on weight).

Boxsets or multiple items may be more.

CD’s can be sold separately.
Registered post for CD’s in cases is approximately €10.00
P&P (at buyers risk) for a CD is approximately €4, (or €3 without case/tray). Additional CDs will increase cost to €7 and will be posted in A Post prepaid envelope.
