Lovely piece of Irish country music nostalgia from the golden era of RTE television and Irish country entertainment. Country Star Time Volume 2 was released in association with RTE and CMR Records and features a fantastic line-up of well-known Irish country artists from the early 1980s including Big Tom, Brendan Shine, Margo, Gene Stuart, Larry Cunningham, TR Dallas, Roly Daniels, Glen Curtin and more.

Recorded at Cork Opera House before a live audience, the Country Star Time series became hugely popular across Ireland and featured many of the biggest names in Irish country music of the time.
