Downy Mildew was an American rock band from San Luis Obispo, California active between the mid-1980s and mid-1990s.

Their sound has been described as chamber-pop, inspired by 1960s pop and post punk. They have pop, folk and alternative influences and Michael Stype of REM produced their second album.

They have also been also associated with the Paisley Underground scene which produced bands like The Dream Syndicate, The Bangles, The Long Ryders, The Rain Parade and Green on Red.

For sale is their debut album Broomtree, released in 1987, by Texas Hotel in the US and Glass Records in the UK. This is the US version and in perfect condition.
