On an empty NYC subway train circa 1997, Colombian-born, Brooklyn-based singer and songster John Wolfington sat down beside Sonic Youth lead man Thurston Moore. Coincidentally carrying a demo tape he handed it to Thurston, who politely accepted it.

Some time later Steve Shelley (Sonic Youth) and Tim Foljhan agreed to work with John on recording his self-titled debut. Sessions took place over the next six months, primarily at Brooklyn's Rare Book Room with engineer Nicolas Vernhes. Steve and Tim play on over half the songs, with the rest sporting simple drum loops and Wolfington's sweltering croon and lithe, ethereal, instrumental work on drums, piano, Moog, bass, and Dr. Rhythm.

Following a six-year sabbatical in L.A., Wolfington came back to the studio room to record ten tunes with Steve Shelley on drums and Tim Foljahn on bass. The recording, American Dreamsicle, got only weekly to complete (three times to record and four to combine) and premiered in August 2007.

All Items are from a personal collection, stored upright and in excellent conditions. All vinyls & sleeves are cleaned, visually inspected and LPs / records / played (partially or completely) prior to been giving ratings & comments, before LPs/CDs listed.

LP’s come with plastic sleeve cover.

Discounts may be given for multiple items purchased. No offers below asking price will be accepted on open forum and any deals, multiple or not, must be via Direct Message.

Postage is available on limited conditions:

P&P for LPs Registered will be approximately €13 (Depending on weight). Boxsets or multiple items may be more.

P&P at buyers risk is €6, this is a An Post pre-paid padded envelope. Records will be wrapped in cardboard, etc and sent via normal post. Any loss or damage is completely at buyers risk.

CD’s can be sold separately.
Registered post for CD’s in cases is approximately €8.
P&P (at buyers risk) for a CD is approximately €4.50, or €2:00 without case/tray. Additional CDs may increase cost.
