You might be asking yourself, why should I buy polylined / paper inner sleeves when I could just use paper inner sleeves that are cheaper?
I'm not really that fussy.

Plain paper inner sleeves are obviously better than nothing at all.
However they do introduce the following element to your precious vinyl

- SCUFF MARKS
- PAPER DUST
- STATIC

If you're like me, you've probably spent a fortune on your collection over the years.
These are the most bang for your buck LONG term vinyl protection solution.

With static clearly being the worst out of the above because:
- it causes noise on playback(even moreso with moving coil cartridges).
- buying anti-static vinyl cleaning solution will be the only alternative to replacing the vinyl.
- it attracts the actual paper dust from plain paper inner sleeves to the surface.
- anything else that's in the air is fair game for static
