1977 release from American R&B and soul group Shalamar on the Soul Train label. Uptown Festival is a Motown medley featuring classics including Going To A Go Go, I Can’t Help Myself, Stop In The Name Of Love and more, and became one of the group’s breakthrough hits.

Shalamar were formed in the United States and became one of the key acts associated with the Soul Train era and late 70s disco soul sound.
