Hello there..scuse late reply, been away! Yes indeed sure this violin would be a super starter fiddle and beyond.. it's well easy to dinner all the notes right up the fingerboard.. there is a gorgeous sweet tone on her that is not at all overpowering or shrill ike a lot of starter instruments, and this will only improve again evermore with lotsa playing so yah mate no worries
